We find ourselves in an incredibly challenging time, an unprecedented time-- both globally and in our homes. As mothers we often (though there are more and more exceptions) bear a disproportionate load taking care of our families, both emotionally and in practical ways. The weight is especially heavy right now.
It's very hard to feel calm, relaxed and present with our children in times like these. We all want the best for our children, and often that needs to start with us as mothers. It's so much easier to DO our best when we start with FEELING our best!
Our well-being as mothers is SO important at any time, but even more now in the middle of COVID-19. Anxieties are high. We don't know what's going to happen next. Financial concerns are huge for many families. And childcare has completely disappeared. You may be finding yourself working from home while looking after children, or not working with big financial worries.

-how your body physically responds to stress such as changes in hormones, digestion and brain function (stress does really kill brain cells!)
