You were never meant to do it alone. Whether you have a new baby or your children are older, motherhood can be really hard sometimes! Having support makes it SO much easier. Mothers who feel a sense of belonging and support are mothers who thrive and blossom!
Share your struggles and find support and understanding. Celebrate your wins with a community of others mothers. Be supported by a professional counsellor (who's also a mother and GETS it!) Learn new information and tools to help you feel whole, alive and fulfilled as a woman and mother!
What are support group sessions like? We'll open with each participant checking in and sharing how they're feeling and anything new that's going on for them. Then there will be time for discussion and going deeper into what is brought to the group that week. The last half hour of the group I'll share information about a theme related to motherhood (eg: self-care, relationships, mental health, etc.) and there will be time for discussion about that theme. You'll learn new tools to help you feel whole, alive and fulfilled as a woman and mother!
Group counselling is affordable, effective, and builds community and connection. You'll be invited to share your feelings and experiences at your own pace, according to your comfort level. This is a safe, confidential space where we'll explore issues related to motherhood and support you to become the best mother you can be (perfection not required ;)
This small, intimate group (maximum 6 participants) is facilitated by Katherine Aucoin, Registered Therapeutic Counsellor.
